I like the plugin and the features. I am a developer and need to make the Playlist Editor available to users with Editor status. I have tried using a variety of tools, but am not able to get the Playlist Editor to work for Editor. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am using the flash mp3 player plugin for wordpress - It works great as a sidebar widget but when I try to add it to a post as per the instructions I get the following error

'Here is the Music Player. You need to installl flash player to show this cool thing!'

I have checked with my hosting provider and all is well there side regarding mime types etc also I have have the latest version of flash in my browser - any ideas as to what the issue could be ?

version of plugin is 10.1.5

I will leave a feedback here if you don't mind. This is not a bad player but I have tested many mp3 players for my WP website and I have to say that the best one is this: http://www.flashxml.net/mp3-player.html. It's very easy to install and very customizable. I recommend it.

Hello, my Enoch is, I'm using flash-plugin-mp3 plyer and would like to know how to allow authors to create and edit playlist using FMP_Config_Editor (), and FMP_Playlist_Editor ();

I am trying to change the playlist order. Is there a way to change the sequence of the songs in the playlist or would I need to enter/load in the songs in the order I want them to play.

It's really good plugin and easy to use, but one problem i have is that i cannot create or edit new plugin any more. How can i solve this?

Sorry about that, "container id" and "container class" are for Web developer, not for normal user. What you should do is to create the play list use the songs' url. and tell the player which playlist you want it to play.

I'm sorry. I have konwn this problem for a longlong time. But the flash part of this player was not developed by me, and I'm just a PHPer, so I'm now trying very hard to learn and study how to fix this problem in Flash.

I'm not so sure what's wrong, maybe your problem is the admin panel dose not work well on IE. I'm sorry about that, because I haven't tested it under IE. I'll spend some time on it in the near future. If you can tell me your IE version, I'll be very appreciated.

Yes, of course. You can use widget panel to put the player to the before post position sidebar. If your theme does not support this position sidebar, you can use short code wizard to insert the player to your post content, use center tag. The most hard way is to edit your theme, call the player use template tag, that way, you should konw something of PHP.

Firstly, you should upload your songs to your hosting server ( use ftp or something like that), put your song to some visitable path, for example, put them to /wp-content/songs/test.mp3.

Then, your song url is http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-content/songs/test.mp3

Does anybody know how to get it working correctly in Internet Explorer. Personally I hate Internet Explorer lol, but unfortunately, people still instist on using it, so I need it compatible enough to work with IE.
Currently IE is not allowing the top image, track name/length etc to show, which i can live with, as the rest (track list), does actually show and play.. Unless, you have more tracks than the length of the player... Then the cool scroll bar does not work, and the entire track listing disapears altogether. not good. But I love this plugin, so for now I have simply shortened my playlist and i am putting up with the lack of graphical display at the top. Any thoughts on an IE fix?

Hi there
When this loads each time, a white background initially appears with red and grey sections for a split second until the colours I have set load correctly. How can I stop it from initially loading with this white background each time, as its spoiling the look of my website and I have had to use a different audio playlist player instead.

I ran into some problems with the player...
When I activate it on my WP-admin, it doesn´t show up in the list under settings, so I can´t make a new player elsewhere on my website (there a several on my my website already). It used to work! Is it a question of my WP-version? Thanks!

It is a wonderful plugin. I have a question, it works great in the admin panel, the preview plays fine, the sidebar widget works great, but when i use the button to embed on a page the results say i need to install a flash player, is it because i don't know the id or class? Thank you either way i think yours is the best on wp plugins.

I have an important suggestion for WordPress Flash MP3 Player

It should have a shuffle and a repeat button in the player.

Currently we can set this in payer configuration but it can do only webmaster. Users are not free to configure shuffle and repeat option.

# There should be a repeat button. User should free to select repeat mode of a single song or repeat whole playlist like we do in WINAMP.

I again wish to request you that please make these changes and announce plugin important soon with these really important features.

hi there i find your playlist very hard use. ive got it in my side bar but its asking for a container id and container class. all my mp3 files are in my ftp so how to i get them to play? other mp3 players you just simply input the url and all my files are then listed and i can then add them in what ever order i wont. can you please assist me

Great Plugin, thanks.. i have only one problem, the player is not compatible with explore 8 .. the display pannel doesn't show in explorer but it does in google chrome for example.. also if i have along list of songs, explorer is not capable of showing.. just a blank play list.. Any idea plz ? thanks

真的很感动啊，（至今）有这么多老外都在关注你的插件！
有欧美的，日本的，还有俄国的，GOD，地球人都在用你的插件啊！
不知你是否仍在开发调试中。和大多数老外一样，在我的WP中
插件对Chrome内核支持较好，但对FIREFOX和IE都存在一些问题。
很早就有老外提出“播放列表”显示空白现象，
不知您是否已经有了解决方法。或者目前的研究进度？

我的WP中“播放列表”在首页显示正常，但是二级链接后就显示空白了(IE,FF下)

I love the way you did this plugin, buut there seems to be a problem. Despite that I'm able to create more than 1 playlist, only one playlist appears (I have one for music, the other for radio interview podcast). How do I get over this problem?

The music plays fine when I select autoplay, but why do I get a 404 error when I try to use any of the player controls? It's going to an erroneous url (http://www.adictango.com/>/h3_).

Can anybody help with customizing the flash player to make where the photo on the left hand side is larger or if possible relocate the photo that shows when different tracks are playing such as; bottom and size being at least
200 x 200 px?

To be honest, it's not as simple or user friendly as expected. I install and activate the plugin but I've spent half a day trying to understand your Usage article, but I still don't get it. I can't even understand this first step ---> FMP:Config Editor

Your plugin causes WordPress 3.2 to fail. The post editor will not display and several of the menues under WordPress dashboard will blink.

My playlist isn't playing. All the songs say 0% loaded. I've uploaded the songs to FileDropper to make sure they all have their unique url, but its still not working.
